love stuff I Stuff Ryan Loves I love mason jars for their versatility and ease of use. They are inexpensive and very cool. Ryan Palmer Owner, Torque Coffee Roasters Vancouver, Washington How do you use them at Torque? We use them for so many things, like our V60s, our teas, even our logo travel mugs are a Cuppow [plastic lids for drinking out of canning jars] and beer koozie on a mason jar. We brew our teas and V60s into them, using custom handles so we don't burn our hands, and serve [the drinks] into traditional cups and masons jars for cold drinks. What do your customers think of them? Our customers and our baristas love them, and we have all used them for different purposes all our lives. Where do you get them? We buy ours at a local feed store, and occasionally at specialty stores. We use just about any and every size of mason jar out there, from four-ounce to one-gallon. Anything else to add about mason jars? I would really encourage people to use them more for brewing and serving. It's really a back-to-basics style of service, and customers appreciate the look and feel. Cool glassware is just that—it doesn't make your coffee taste any better.
