P U L L : E V E N T S Former Coffee In Good Spirits Champion of Iceland, Vala Stef, was one of four competitors in the Hungary Games, a fun and spirited coffee cocktail competition held at the epic Barista League/ Barista Magazine/Ally Coffee party one evening during the World of Coffee Budapest. Attendees to the opening-night party hosted by the Specialty Coffee Association cruised the River Danube on a large, open-air ship, sipping champagne and watching the sunset between the cities of Buda and Pest. Having made the final round of the World Coffee In Good Spirits Championship five times, Slovakiaʼs Martin Hudák finally won first place at World of Coffee Budapest with an exceptional routine showcasing the best of coffee cocktails. As the World Coffee Events Origin Travel Sponsor, Ally Coffee is bringing the World Barista, Cup Tasters, and Brewers Cup Champions to Brazil in July 2017 along with United States Barista, Cup Tasters, Roaster, and Brewers Cup champions and runners-up. Former Italian Barista Champion, and cofounder of the famous Barista & Farmer event, Francesco Sanapo, welcomed baristas to his stand during World of Coffee to make application videos. Currently, Barista & Farmer is seeking contestants for the next incarnation of the event to be held in Colombia, which brings baristas from around the world to work at a coffee farm.
