Traditionally brightly decorated and blaring music, buses known as chivas provided transportation for LTC attendees from the host hotel to the historic city center for the night of Sevan's Grill. In one of the event's more-popular lectures, James Hoffmann from London's Square Mile Coffee Roasters proposed a new social contract where risk was more equitably shared by roasters with producers, and prices for green coffee would be independent from the C market. 34 barista magazine
