This will be Emily's second season competing. During Erika's session, Glitter Kitten David Palazuelos volunteered to put himself out there to practice his presentation skills for the group. After a long fi rst day of learning and sharing, Glitter Kittens Elisabeth, Audrey, and Kara took some time to decompress and get to know one another better. At the Glitter Cat Barista Championship, competitor Joseph Gonzalez worked hard to best the bonus system by choosing and combining some of the riskiest ingredients in his effort to get more points. Behold, the Espresso Bloody Mary. As his judge, I can say it was actually quite delicious and helped him to advance to the fi nal round of competition.
