Stuff Sam loves WPM x Slow Pour Supply Pitchers I love stuff Sam Neely Director of Coffee Switchback Coffee Roasters Colorado Springs, Colo. Why do you love it? I love the Slow Pour because its unique shape not only helps me to pour beautiful latte art, but milk doesn't drip down the spouts, either! This allows me to be super clean and efficient on the bar, while still pouring drinks that make guests go "wow!" time after time. The shape and the variety of colors also makes them some of the most aesthetically pleasing pitchers that I've ever seen, too. How does the Slow Pour Supply pitcher contribute to making your job easier? Maybe this is all in my head, but I do believe that the Slow Pour has helped me pour better latte art than ever before. Almost immediately after switching, I had more defined lines and symmetrical patterns. Having a pitcher that I can trust to pour well allows me to place more focus on taking care of my guests, and less time focusing on pouring milk into coffee. What do your coworkers think of it? My coworkers love it! We're always using them to throw down with each other, and I think it's helped all of us to pour nicer latte art. Would you recommend it to others? I absolutely would recommend it to ever yone! Not only are they beautiful and practical, but Slow Pour as a company is extremely active in and supportive of the coffee community. They are the exact kind of company that makes me proud to be in the coffee industr y. PHOTO BY JOSEPH BLOOM SUMMERTIME WITH SWEETBIRD Nothing says summer more than pink lemonade, and the sweet, tangy taste of Sweetbird Pink Lemonade syrup will make your customers swoon. Just add a few dashes to chilled still or sparkling water for instant refreshment and that summertime feeling. Try it for yourself at the SCA Expo booth #1225. RING THAT ROASTING BELL Bellwether's electric commercial coffee roaster uses clean technology and doesn't require gas lines, expensive ventilation, or roasting expertise. Not only that, it's the most consistent and controllable roaster available, the lowest carbon footprint commercial roaster ever made, and was designed by coffee people who believe in a more accessible and sustainable future for coffee roasting. 64 barista magazine
