Baristas, roasters, and coffee pros from all across the Midwest made their way to the second tour stop the next day, and most stayed for an evening gathering where conversations inspired by the producers' presentations continued well into the night. Soon enough, the group was back at the airport to depart for the last stop on the tour, Lancaster, Pa., where the team at Square One Coffee was pumped to meet them and host the final event. Just as in Olympia and Minneapolis, the capacity crowd had traveled from near and far to soak in the experience. For so many coffee professionals, the opportunity to meet producers who are pushing boundaries for harvesting and processing practices is incredibly special.
