Finally, with "The Swayze" held aloft and glittering in a thousand different directions, the prizewinning team was announced. It is a source of great pride to me that my team, "Girl, You Fines," took home the ball, the pride and a real sense of having raised the bar for ourselves personally, and as part of a coffee team. The final morning was bittersweet, but knowing that so many amazing baristas were going back home fully refreshed, energized and ready to disseminate their newly-acquired knowledge made leaving somehow a little easier.
