Clockwise from top: On a balmy, beautiful, early summer evening, hundreds of World of Coffee Budapest attendees made their way to the River Danube after the show ended for the day, to catch a riverboat for a champagne cruise at sunset between the two ancient cities of Buda and Pest. Kim Elena Ionescu of the Specialty Coffee Association spoke during World of Coffee Budapest about sustainability in the coffee industry. Endless cuppings were, as always, a huge part of the World of Coffee. Many attendees travel from their home countries for the event specifically to taste coffees they might not otherwise have an opportunity to experience.
