57 Stuff Oodie Loves Dr. Bronner's Baby Unscented Organic Magic Balm, in the tin I love stuff Oodie Taliaferro Independent barista Dallas Why do you love it? Being a barista and washing dishes puts a lot of stress on your hands and joints. This balm is great because it's unscented and absorbs quickly so I can use it at work. Lotion never seems to soak in or last, so having a balm that does makes it easier to work without pain. My fingers get ver y calloused around the sides, and the edges by my fingernails love to peel and crack. This balm alleviates that pain and makes it easier to do those simple tasks, like wiping out a portafilter basket. Dr. Bronner's also has one that is arnica and menthol that I use when I'm not at work. That one has a very strong scent, but it helps break down muscle pain and functions like Tiger Balm. How does it help you be a better barista? When my hands don't hurt, it's easier to ser ve. Nothing frustrates me more than when my hands ache from being so dr y. Being able to moisturize without leaving grease and scents on cups is paramount. Not having artificial scents behind bar helps me focus on what's going into the cup a little bit more. Anything else to add? Dr. Bronner's is a pretty great company. This balm lasts forever. COFFEE CAREERS START HERE Learn more at
